Robert Sargent

Founder

Robert Sargent founded Capitol Asset Recovery Inc. in 1987, just after he graduated from the University of Maryland with his marketing business degree. Initially, the company focused on data processing equipment, but as the PC took predominance, the company followed suit and redirected their efforts to meet the growing market.

Through the years, Robert dealt with almost every type of IT equipment produced, along with a wide variety of other technology, including test and measurement, printing, and data-communications equipment, and he worked with many specialists in the field involved with repair and remarketing.

Since his unfortunate passing in March 2007, his memory and business ideals have lived on through the service and dedication of the entire Capitol Asset Recovery team.
